How do I connect my agent to Telegram?
Create a Telegram bot via BotFather, then configure the bot token and webhook secret in your Interlocute surface settings. The platform routes incoming Telegram messages to your node and sends responses back. This surface is coming soon — sign up to be notified.
Can users message my agent in Telegram groups?
Group chat support is planned. Initially the bot will handle direct messages. Group-level interactions will follow once the surface exits placeholder status.
Will messages be governed like other surfaces?
Yes. Every message routed through the Telegram surface is subject to the same platform contract, governance policies, and metered usage as web and API surfaces.
Is there an extra cost for the Telegram integration?
No additional platform fee. Usage is billed identically to other surfaces: a premium on LLM tokens plus computation. The Telegram routing infrastructure itself is included.
